SYMPOSIUM - 10 JUNE 2004 - NSW
ACMICA's
symposium on “A Catholic Social Conscience” attracted
an estimated 250 keen participants. Papers were presented
by Frank Brennan SJ, Jesuit priest and human rights advocate;
Stefan Gigacz, Canon lawyer and lay activist; and Sandie Cornish,
former Executive Secretary of the Bishop’s social justice
council. ACMICA wishes to thank speakers for their time, the
Australian Catholic University for their generous support,
volunteers and all participants involved.
